Prewrite English 101

I really don’t want to divulge too much information yet about my project, but prewriting for me is like a Nikey commercial, just do it.  My prewrite will be something that transpires to me in the Navy, that made me realize how significant I was to my fellow shipmates.

Prewrite, how to do a prewrite? It’s so easy, just find something to write about. A personal topic, that is either humorous, informative, or opinionated. You can start by brainstorming, just start compiling a list of things that you like, or have  good knowledge or confidence in, and keep track by taking notes.
 You can also free write. It’s a process of writing for five minutes straight about a certain topic, or just writing in a journal, but either way, write for five minutes. You will be amazed what your mind exposes during that time.

Clustering and branching is a good idea. Find your main subject, then write three to five subjects underneath your main subject, and that gives you an essay with five paragraphs. You can’t go wrong with how you write. Just remember to always edit, edit, edit and revise one more time.
